ONE MONTH OUT…
Only 4 weeks left until the festival gates open, and we couldn’t be more excited to see your smiling (and good looking) faces! We’re hard at work to ensure that y’all have the best experience possible, so be sure you and your friends don’t miss out on the best party of the summer.
Saturday features Passion Pit’s first NYC show in 2 years, Duck Sauce’s first show ever in NYC, Kid Cudi’s first return to the Big Apple since his sold out gig last summer, Chromeo, and many more. Sunday features Beck’s first show in NYC in 4 years, Modest Mouse’s first NYC show in 2 years, Fiona Apple’s first NYC show in support of her new record, and a slew of others. It’s gonna be a party and tickets will likely sell out, so get on it!
PASSION PIT INTERVIEW
The Governors Ball Team sat down with Michael Angelakos, lead singer/songwriter of Passion Pit, to discuss their new album ‘Gossamer,’ songwriting inspirations, their headline set at Gov Ball, and more! Check it out here:

We are very pleased to announce that Children’s Future International is the official charity partner of Gov Ball 2012! CFI is a US-based non-profit that serves to enrich the lives of the most vulnerable children in NW Cambodia. They will have a dedicated area at the festival, where fans can stop by to learn about this amazing cause. Most importantly, we will be raffling off autographed merchandise, signed by Gov Ball artists. These highly sought after items will be available exclusively by raffle at the CFI dedicated area, so be sure to stop by and pay a visit!
