Our #1 priority is the safety and security of you, the fans. (Naturally, our #2 priority is creating the best festival experience ever). As such, we want to stress how important it is that all festival goers be smart and safe at the show. This means not only staying hydrated via our free water stations (courtesy of our partner CamelBak) and pacing oneself, but also abiding by all city and state laws. Only those folks 21+ are able to drink alcohol. Drug use at the festival is ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED. We have a ZERO tolerance policy when it comes to underage drinking and drug use, and we take this very seriously.

All we want is for all attendees to have a positive experience that they will remember forever. We ask that you be smart, be safe and look out for one another. If you see someone looking like they might need help, please let our festival staff know. We have medical stations around the festival, as well as roaming medical teams. Our medical teams are here to help – no questions asked. As a wise man once said, safety first!

Let’s be honest- you don’t have to indulge in order to enjoy fun times, especially at a music festival. With over 70 artists, tons of activities, art installations, delicious food and more, there’s a ton of fun stuff to do. And for folks that like to enjoy life without indulging, there will be a sober group on-site where you can hang with like minded friends and enjoy the day. Check out @SoberBall HERE.

Food Lineup, Activities & Gov Ball After Dark

We’ve enlisted our favorite NYC restaurants, food trucks, chefs and other cooking experts to offer a diverse and delicious array of savory goodness, sweet delights and everything in between.

You don’t have to take our word for it, check out the venders HERE. And if you enjoy delicious food stuffs, we recommend you check out our friends at The Infatuation – Restaurant Reviews For The People!

Heads up folks, tickets are almost entirely sold out. At the current pace everything will likely be sold out by Monday/Tuesday, so if you’re planning to come and haven’t purchased tickets yet, you should do that ASAP. We’re telling you this because we love you and we don’t want you taking your chances on 3rd party ticketing sites that can result in fake tickets and sad sad people.

3 solid days of tunage, good friends and heaps of the best food not enough for you? Don’t fret, we have plenty of other fun stuffs planned for you. Photo booths, lawn games, and the triumphant return of the Silent Disco! More information on all of our activities can be found HERE.

For this year’s Silent Disco lineup, we have curated a phenomenal group of up-and-coming and underground NYC DJs and mixed in a few of our favorites from all around the USA! This is going to be the best and most diverse Gov Ball Silent Disco yet, hands down! We’ll be bringing you over 25 hours of funky ear candy for your dance party delight, and recommended dance moves include the funky chicken, the lawnmower, literally anything from the movie Footloose, and Steve Martin’s beat dance from The Jerk.

Get the party started early and keep it going late, that’s the way we roll in NYC. The Strokes, Damon Albarn, Kurt Vile and Washed Out are just a few of the many shows we’re bringing to the Big Apple during Gov Ball. Take a look at our official after party guide HERE.
