2012 Artist Interview Series – Walk The Moon

For our second installment of the artist interview series, we caught up with Walk The Moon, a couple hours before their sold out show with Kaiser Chiefs at NYC’s Terminal 5. We discussed an array of topics including the origin of their name, their upcoming album, first concert attended, and what other artists they’re looking forward to seeing at Gov Ball. Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Truck At The Governors Ball

We’re excited to announce that The Governors Ball Music Festival will once again be one of the stops along the way for the 2012 Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Truck Tour. The scoop truck will be located on site at the festival for everyone to enjoy some of Ben & Jerry’s new Greek Frozen Yogurt. Few things go better with good music than good food, and this year we’re putting a big emphasis on delicious eats. We’ve enlisted top notch NYC restaurants, food trucks, and other culinary experts to offer a diverse array of savory goodness and sweet delights. After all, New York City is the foodie capital of the world, and Gov Ball NYC is an event for all senses, including taste. Heads up Ballers – the prices for all transportation tickets (Manhattan Ferry, Brooklyn Shuttle, and Parking Passes) will increase on Sunday, April 1st at Noon EST (only 2 days away!). Be sure to snag these cheaper transpo tickets while you can, and be sure to figure out your transportation plan in advance – ferry, shuttle and parking tickets will definitely sell out.

Dance Your Way to Backstage Passes & More in our 2nd Annual Dance Off Contest!

We are pleased to announce the 2nd annual “Dance Off Contest”, where participants can win Backstage passes, autographed merch items, festival merch, & more!

The contest is simple: Record a 15 – 60 second clip of you and/or your friends dancing, post it on the wall of our Facebook page, tag yourself and your friends, and BOOM you are automatically entered. Submissions will be judged on creativity, hilariousness, ridiculousness, and overall awesomeness (having a large number of likes does not hurt either), and there is no limit on entries per person.
